Copperhead Shift drops you into a high-pressure coin sorting facility where the rules rewrite themselves mid-shift. You're managing 2-3 conveyor lanes simultaneously, identifying real from fake currency under timed conditions. The belt speed accelerates every wave. Hold a coin too long and you miss the next three. Release too early and you forfeit the value multiplier.
The hold mechanic is your edge: press and maintain contact to charge the coin's worth, but watch the lane congestion. One wrong sort kills a life. Three strikes and the shift ends. Between waves you select temporary booster cards—gold multipliers, fresh effect upkeep, additional starting lanes—each altering your tactical approach for the next rush.
Copper marks earned during shifts unlock permanent advantages: Ridged Coins at 25 marks, Foreign Coins at 60, Antique Coins at 80, and the game-changing Extra Lane at 300. Every unlock adds a new sorting rule to master, compounding the cognitive load but multiplying potential scores. Version 1.1 fine-tuned the fog effects and combo timing based on top-tier player feedback.

Press and hold any coin to amplify its copper mark payout. Risk-reward balance: longer holds yield bigger scores but clog your lanes and threaten combo chains.
Counterfeit coins slip into the flow. One tap sends them to the discard chute. Sort a fake into a real bin and lose a life instantly—no warnings, no second chances.
Consecutive correct sorts build your multiplier: x1, x3, x5 and beyond. One mistake resets to baseline. Elite players maintain x10+ combos across entire waves.
